There are several ways to submit your thoughts and ideas to the government. In addition to a number of roundtables with groups plus larger pre-budget consultation sessions, you can visit the Ministry of Finance website at www.fin.gov.on.ca to submit your ideas for the 2010 Budget. Click on “Tell Us What You Think” in the What’s New menu and complete the form provided. You can also e-mail your input to submissions@ontario.ca, fax it to 416-325-0969 or mail it to: The Minister of Finance, c/o Budget Secretariat, Frost Building North, 3rd Floor, 95 Grosvenor Street, Toronto, ONĀ M7A 1Z1.
In particular, the Minister of Finance is interested in hearing Ontarians’ views on what more the government can do during uncertain economic times to manage Ontario’s finances and protect important public services.
