What payment methods can I use?
ONT-TAXS online offers an easy, convenient and secure way to make payments online.
In order to make a payment online you must first provide your banking information by completing a Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) Agreement. A PAD Agreement allows you to transfer funds from your bank account to the Ministry of Finance each time you authorize an online payment. Once you've established a PAD Agreement for a particular account, the PAD Agreement is valid until you delete it.
Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) Agreement
A Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) Agreement gives Ministry of Finance the authority to request withdrawal of funds from your bank account.
A PAD agreement does not authorize regular or periodic withdrawals. You or your authorized representative(s) must authorize each payment online.
