What happens to the credit if I do not request a refund?
If you do not request a refund for the credit balance on your account it will automatically be refunded to you after 120 days, if the following criteria is met:
- No returns are in default
- No other accounts are carrying a liability (balance owing)
- No collection or audit is in progress on your account
The Ministry of Finance will issue a refund if all the above criteria are met on your account.
