MOdERNIZING In the 2013 budget, Ontario introduced a new municipal roads and bridges fund to help Ontario’s small, rural and Northern INFRASTRUCTURE communities. This year, Ontario is making the fund permanent. IN COMMUNITIES For example, almost $1 million was invested to replace the Pine River bridge in Adjala-Tosorontio Township with a two-lane bridge that will improve safety and better accommodate heavy traffc.
